Favorite Toy, Favorite Playground

These tinsel balls are still Maggie's favorite toys. She loses them under things for a while and then somehow find s them. She either hits the ball and chases it or carries it in her mouth and drops it to bat it or tosses it in the air and catches it. Her favorite locale for this activity? Our new king size bed with our lovely gold comforter cover.

Karen, I'm a 51-year-old mother of a high school girl in West Hollywood, and I'm unabashedly going to invade your personal space here to inquire if you know anything about this wiki software world? I have an idea that would require reader contributions to pull off, so I began this morning researching the history of Wikipedia to see if I could figure out a way to use it on my Mac, integrated with the Dreamweaver I know. I was going to email your husband for his advice, but I'm overwhelmed with how to best phrase my questions, and figured he's probably too busy with all the jobs listed on the site to give me much time. (My husband's the technical one of our house, although I have taken a class in Dreamweaver and know Quark and Photoshop like the back of my hand. I'm a newspaper/magazine person, started as a writer/editor and then when Maddie was born focused more on magazine art direction, on Mac, so I could be more a stay-at-home parent.) Anyway, you said in your blog you were an empty-nester, so I thought you might have more patience for a non-technical person's questions. If you have any knowledge and/or interest in hearing my web idea, basically to get people to know their neighborhoods more (to walk instead of drive across town, to get more exercise, use less gas, encourage more historic preservation, etc.), please respond.

P.S. I love your cats.
